Career as a trainer :
During the last twenty years, Nelson has trained famous riders such as JANOU TISSOT (twice World Champion), Gilles de Balanda (World Champion), more recently Evelyne BLATON and of course his son Rodrigo (World Champion).
Nelson has also trained the Brasilian team who became bronze medalist both at the Olympic Games in Atlanta and Sydney, as well as the Saoudi rider, Mr Khaled Al Eid, who was bronze medalist at the Olympic Games in Sydney.
