They have become essential in everyday life, and they are useful in all areas: health, shopping, social life, games, sports … You will understand, we decided to talk about mobile applications. Because the equestrian world has not escaped it, here are some applications that you can’t miss when you are a horse lover, rider and/or owner.

Destrier

Renowned for its feed and supplements for horses, Destrier launches the first application dedicated to horse feeding. The interface allows owners who manage the food of their equines to be accompanied in the choice of the food program of their protégés. Describe your horse and visualize its physiological needs to define an adapted ration. All you must do is save your choice on your horse’s file to be able to consult it quickly and easily at any time of the day and to change it. You will also find on the application advice specially adapted to the profile of your horse, the points of sale and their contact details to easily find your Destrier products as well as an alert system so that you don’t forget the important moments in the life of your horse (deworming, farrier, competitions…). The application “Feed your horse well” is available free of charge on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store

EKISM

“My daughter Marine gave me the idea to create Ekism when she saw the constraints of managing her horse Stradivarius. This is how Sophie Roscheck presents EKISM ID, her application for the daily management of horses. Design and intuitive, the application allows you to create the identity card of your horses, to organize a training program and outings, to create a calendar of care and offers you the possibility to use a dashboard that allows you to follow its budget. Of course, it is possible to share information about your horses with your friends. The application also offers a news feed that relays the articles of Grand Prix Replay to have the information of equestrian sports at hand. Finally, a last advice tab offers articles to help you progress a little more each day. The application is free and available on iOS and Android.

EKWO

Aimed at horse lovers whatever their level, the EKWO app offers several features with real-time synchronization. Among the services offered, you can create your calendar to plan your outings (training, rides …), your care and add notes to never forget anything thanks to notifications, you can also share your program with the half-board to coordinate. Find also the equestrian news by filtering it according to your interests among many topics: breeding, health, legislation, ethology, show jumping, dressage, CCE, vaulting, news (equipment). Where EKWO stands out is on the “ride” part: track your route, take photos that will be geolocated and retrieve a summary of your session with your average speed, the duration of the ride and the distance you have covered. You will also find on the application training sheets, classified by discipline and by level, that you can note, annotate, and share with other riders. Available on both OS, the basic version of the application is free. However, access to an optimal version of the application is not free: the version for a single owner is 5,99€/month, for half or multiple owners the subscription costs 2,99€/month and the “family” or multi-member subscriptions cost 9,99€/month.

Equisense

The Equisense application allows owners of the “Equisense Motion” connected sensor to follow their progress, analyze their sessions and put numbers on their feelings. However, the Equisense application is also particularly useful for riders who do not have their sensor: you will find many well explained exercises to work your horse on the flat, in dressage, over jumps, on foot and even outside. Don’t worry, all distances are indicated, and the exercises are detailed. You can bookmark your favorite exercises to find them easily. And for the rider, Equisense has thought of the “rider” tab with exercises to build muscles and get into the saddle. The app is free, available on Android and iOS.

JumpFax

JumpFax aims to be the preferred interface that brings riders and competition organizers together. The application offers the calendar of CSIs around the world that you can save and share with your teams: ideal for planning your season or finding the competition that suits you by searching for it by location, category or even prize money. You will find all the information you need about the competitions: practical information, schedules, how to get to the competition, key contacts… JumpFax also offers all the sports data related to the competition such as the Start List and the results regularly updated. Finally, the JumpFax database is at your disposal and can be used as an analysis tool of the equestrian sports market, for your personal use or for your company. Of course, every Monday, the application sends you the results of the major CSI of the weekend, so that you don’t miss any more the news of the high level sport. The application is available on Android and iOS but is only accessible to “Expert” (4,99€/month) and “premium” (9,99€/month) members, the free version only exists on the web.

PegaseBuzz

Created in 2011 by Roxanne Legendre, the PegaseBuzz blog takes a new turn in 2017 by launching its application, still on the theme of “contemporary horse”. The interface aims to be the daily tool for horse enthusiasts to learn, reflect, inform, entertain … All wherever you are. Complete your profile, while being free to manage the extent of personal information you are willing to give, to receive personalized content tailored to you and your interests. So, find the blog posts that interest you without having to search for them and stay close to your favorite brands to keep up with the latest news. The alert system in a space of your own allows you not to miss any more the content you are following to be always aware of the trends in the equestrian world. Finally, the PegaseBuzz application lists all the job offers in the horse world, in all fields and all over the world: your future job may be on the PegaseBuzz application. The application is free and available on iOS and Android.

Royal Horse

Ensuring the best follow-up of your horse is the promise made by the app of the feed brand Royal Horse. To do this, Royal Horse has mobilized its experts to offer on the interface a help to choose the products that suit your horse, the possibility to calculate the ideal ration for your horse (as well as the possibility to estimate the weight of your equine), a diary to manage the daily life and schedule of your companion as well as the list of Royal Horse points of sale, in order to find the stores nearest to you. In short, a complete, design and intuitive application that allows you to manage your horse in a complete way: from feeding to physical activity. The app is free and available on both iOS and Android.
